The Queen's code test came back positive

The 95-year-old queen contacted her eldest son and successor, Prince of Wales Prince Charles, who tested positive for the code last week.

Buckingham Palace, Britain's royal palace, says the Queen's code test is positive.

Buckingham Palace says the Queen has "minor flu-like symptoms" due to the virus, but is expected to continue to perform minor tasks at Windsor over the next week.

The 95-year-old queen came in contact with her eldest son and successor, Prince of Wales Prince Charles, who tested positive for the code last week.

It should be noted that in Windsor Castle, where the Queen resides, many people have tested positive for code.

The announcement comes just weeks after the Queen's 70-year reign was announced. Queen Elizabeth II became Britain's longest-ruling queen on February 6 this month.

It was the first time in three months that she had appeared at a public event when she met with charity workers at Sandringham House on the occasion of her Platinum Jubilee.

The first vaccine was given to the Queen in January 2021 and it is believed that she has since been given all the required doses of the vaccine.

The BBC's Royal Correspondent, Nicholas Vichel, says she has been "very careful" since spending the night in hospital for a medical examination in October last year.

Camilla Parker, the Duchess of Cornwall, wife of Prince Charles, also tested positive for her husband in the last few weeks, just days after the code test. The Duchess of Cornwall has been infected with the cod virus for the first time and Prince Charles for the second time.

The Royal Palace has its own physician and physician, and the Queen's physician is Sir Hugh Thomas, a consultant at St Mary's Hospital in London.

He is the head of the British royal family's team of personal physicians who take care of the health of the family members.
