Sheikh Khalifa puts UAE on the path of development: world leader Sheikh Khalifa puts UAE on the path of development: world leader In a letter to his Emirati counterpart, Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian expressed" anguish and grief" over the death of Sheikh Khalifa.

 India on Saturday declared a day of mourning for the death of Sheikh Khalifa. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi twittered that he was"deeply burdened" by the news of his death. He said that Sheikh Khalifa was a great politician and visionary leader whose leadership relations between India and the UAE grew. The British high minister said he was burdened by her death. 




In his communication to the sovereign of Dubai and acting chairman of the UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Italian Prime Minister Sergio Materella offered his condolences on the death of Sheikh Khalifa and said that he'd put his country on the path of development. 

In his condolence communication, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazmi said, "We're confident that what this great leader has done for development will continue with the sweats of his country's leadership and the people." Israeli President Isaac Herzog has called Sheikh Khalifa's death a" great loss for musketeers in the UAE and for the region as a whole." The Secretary-General of the United Arab Emirates, Antonio Guterres, offered his condolences to the royal family, government and people on his death. 



This great man has devoted his life to the defence of his country, his people, the Arabs and the Islamic cause." Ahmed Abu Al-Ghaith, Secretary-General of the Arab League, issued a statement of condolence to the leadership, government and people of the United Arab Emirates, saying that the Arab League would observe three days of mourning and the flags of the member countries would be flown. 

Jordan's King Abdullah II twittered"We've lost a dear family and a great leader who inherited foresight and wisdom from his deprived great father Sheikh Zayed. He devoted his life to the service of his country, the Arab and Islamic countries."World leaders from around the world, including the Arab world, have expressed grief over the death of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. According to Arab News, Oman had declared three days of public mourning on the death of the President of the United Arab Emirates. Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tariq says"his area shares the grief of the UAE leadership, government and people.
